Since a very long time I could not update my profile because of busy schedule working FX artist In Makuta VFX. Recently we produced one of the best CG movie In Indian Movie Industry called Eega(Telegu), Makhi(Hindi). I am so happy being a part of this project and the out come of our hard work.

Formation and Shattering

Formation and Shattering


Description: Modeled, Generate Strand Particles to follow all over the horse, created polygon on top of those strands
For wipe off the clay like horse and generate new horse used XSI Ice tree to grow the cluster value and weight map with simulation and gave different color values. Particles generated are controlled by growing weight map.
Fractured Horse was done with the help of Kratos plugin and Momentum plugin for stable shattering. Dust and sand particles generated with XSI Ice tree as soon as those broken pieces touch the ground.
Softwares used: Softimage XSI, Nuke

Flocking fly particle

Flocking Fly Particle
Description: Modeled, Textured, Animated, used Syflex cloth for Coat movement, Point Cached all geometry, generate a set of particles on the top of the geometry and distributed them equally on the surface, Generate flocking particles, fly towards the distributed particles on the geometry and stick to the particles on the surface. Transferred surface particles attribute to the flocking particles to change the color of the particle...that is the trick.. experiment for myself..
Softwares used: Softimage XSI, Nuke

Description: Used XSI ICE to flip the cube shaped particles at the same time changing the texture.. this is an experiment for a logo animation..

Concept, Effects and color visualization

Description: This an Indian mythological story telling about how Shakti Pithas are created in India. With lots of research and discussion I have visualized these whole sequence of animation and fx for an Indian regional film .

Shape with Strands

Description: Created different strand particles with XSI ICE, forced those to move on the surface of the objects randomly to fill the whole surface. It took lots of time to fill the whole surface. To reduce the time length i just retimed the whole simulation.

FluidFx for Vaisnavi Arts

Description: Particles Created on the surface of the models and simulated particles with emfluid2 ,rendered with emrcp2. also rendered one more layer of models with xray shader to give a prominent shape with mental ray. Re-time and color corrected in composting.
Softwares Used: SoftImage Xsi 7.5, After Effects Cs4, Digital Fusion..
